I am an African Australian migrant woman whose voice was once dismissed, diminished, and silenced — until I chose to rise. I’ve journeyed from struggling to speak before five people to commanding rooms of 800 and more with clarity, authority, and unapologetic presence.
I’ve gone from being told my story did not matter in Australia to having my stories recognised, awarded, and celebrated on global stages.
From hiding behind wigs and makeup, taught to be ashamed of my African identity, to standing fully visible without masks. From surviving domestic abuse and feeling trapped in silence, to raising my children with strength, building my own business, and securing a doctoral scholarship.
I am not an exception.
I am evidence.
And I speak so other women know what is possible when they reclaim their voice and power.
I don’t just speak. I plant seed – seed that transforms;
When your audience remembers the seed, they remember your event.
